இலங்கை விவகாரம் தொடர்பாக மத்திய அரசின் பிரதிநிதிகள் வரும் 31ஆம் திகதிக்குள் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள மாணவர் கூட்டமைப்புடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் இல்லையென்றால் ஜனாதிபதி மாளிகையை முற்றுகையிட்டு போராட்டம் நடத்துவோம் என்றும்தமிழீழ விடுதலைக்கான மாணவ கூட்டமைப்பு எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளது.  தமிழீழ விடுதலைக்கான மாணவர் கூட்டமைப்பு 22-03-2013 இன்று சென்னையில் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பை நடத்தியது. அப்போது கூட்டமைப்பின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் தினேஷ் பத்திரிகையாளர்களிடம் கூறியதாவது: 'எங்கள் கோரி்க்கைகள் எதுவுமே சாத்தியம் இல்லாதவை அல்ல. நிறைவேற்ற முடியாதவையும் அல்ல. இன அழிப்பு, போர்க் குற்றம், சுதந்திரமான பன்னாட்டு நீதி விசாரணை ஆகிவற்றை கொண்டுவரும் முயற்சியில் இந்தியா ஈடுபட்டிருந்தால், கண்ணிமைக்கும் நேரத்தில் அதனால் இந்தத் தீர்மானங்களைக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்க முடியும்.  மாபெரும் எங்கள் போராட்டத்தை அற்பப் புழுவைப்போல மத்திய அரசு நினைத்துவிட்டது. முள்ளிவாய்க்காலுக்கு முன் பல வாக்குறுதிகளைக் கொடுத்து ஏமாற்றியதுபோல இப்போதும் ஏமாற்றிவிட்டது. தமிழக மக்களுக்கு துரோகம் இழைத்துவிட்டது. இந்த

2011ம் ஆண்டு எகிப்த்தில் மாபெரும் புரட்சி ஏற்பட்டு ஆட்சி மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டது. இளைஞர்களால் அங்கே சிறிய அளவில் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட போராட்டம், Facebook ஊடாக காட்டுத் தீ போலப் பரவியது. அதுமட்டுமல்லாது எகிப்திய படைகள் ஆர்ப்பாட்டக்காரர்களை சுட்டுக்கொன்ற காட்சிகளும் Facebook ஊடாகப் பரவியது. இதனையடுத்து மாணவர்களும் இளைஞர்களும் பெரும் போராட்டங்களில் குதித்தார்கள். பின்னர் அவர்களுக்கு ஆதரவாக பொதுமக்களும் களமிறங்கினார்கள். அது மாபெரும் வரலாறு படைத்த விடயம். அதுபோல தமிழகத்தில் தற்போது ஈழம் தொடர்பாக எழுந்துள்ள உணர்வலைகளை ஏனைய மாவட்டங்களுக்குப் பரப்பவும், உலகத் தமிழர்கள் அனைவரும் அங்கே நடக்கும் செய்திகளை உடனுக்கு உடன் அறிந்துகொள்ளவும் இது உதவியாக அமையும் என்று ஏற்பாட்டாளர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்கள். Students protest continues in Tamil Nadu to press Centre for UN resolution against Sri Lanka Notwithstanding the indefinite closure of arts and science colleges, groups of students continued their protests at several places inTamil Nadu for the sixth day to press the Centre to support the US sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka in the UNHRC. A batch of students of Dr Ambedkar Law University and Dr Ambedkar Government Law College here continued their fast demanding an independent probe against Colombo for alleged war crimes. As the anti-Sri Lanka protests by students spread to more places, the state government had on Friday instructed all arts and science colleges to remain closed till further orders. Meanwhile, around 50 activists of pro-Tamil outfits were arrested when they blocked suburban train services at different places in the city, police said. Over 500 college students were arrested here for attempting to picket the Raj Bhawan even as they continued their protests over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue for the eighth day on Monday. A large number of students joined the protests despite government directing closure of educational institutions. Protests ranged from fast to agitation to boycott of classes in various parts of the state including Coimbatore, Salem and Tirunelveli, with students pressing for various demands, including an independent probe against Colombo for alleged human rights violations and moving theInternational Court of Justice. City-based Loyola College students had first embarked on a fast-unto-death last week on this vexed issue, with more and more students taking to various forms of protests. Tamil Nadu is on the boil after pictures by a private channel showed the alleged cold blooded killing of slain LTTE chief V Prabakaran's 12-year-old son Balachandran.
